FAQs
This is the FAQ page.
- How do I update my clinical profile?
All you need is access to the Web and you can log into your Profile with a secure username and password.
- Do I have to pay to use Mercury’s eCredential system?
There is no charge for clinicians or students. Organisations which use the system pay a licence fee.
- Can I upload scanned copies of documents?
eCredential allows clinicians to upload, documents, certificates, clinical placement reports, photos, journal articles and anything else that important about your clinical registration and credentials.
- How can I be sure no one will access my information?
Only those organisations that you approve will access your clinical information. These are typically organisations you currently work with, or any that you may be applying to work for.
- Can I export my Clinical Portfolio?
Mercury’s eCredential system allows a clinician to export the entire portfolio to PDF allowing the clinician to post or email this to a health service not using our system.
- What if the Coroner needs to know how and why a clinician was credentialed 5 years ago?
Mercury’s eCredential holds a historical record of every ‘Credentialing’ event. So the Coroner will be able to see what information was submitted, who on the committee evaluated, what scope was allocated at that time, what if any conditions were applied.
